You know that we live in times that are ever increasingly wicked and unclean, when the church instructs Bishops to be publicly active about a specific issue, after normally chosing to remain quiet and unattached over the years.
Bishops in California have received instructions from The First Presidency to devote as much of their ward's efforts as they can to amend the state's constitution to define marriage as being only between man and woman.

Not content to sit on the sidelines, The Salt Lake Tribune People's Pravda has to chime in their liberal Communist criticism of the church. I find it interesting that the people who get morally indignant about polygamy in the church's past are some of the very same people who openly advocate homosexual marriage, co-habitation, polyamory, free love, pornography, and swinging. Liberals can be far greater hypocrites than what they accuse conservatives of being.
It's a shame that our times have become such that we need to campaign for such specific definitions of law. I intend to add all of my fervent prayers to help the LDS Bishops in their campaign to defend the traditional family.
The Book of Mormon tells us that when times are such that the voice of the people overwhelmingly choose wickedness, we can know that the end of a civilization is near. The fall of the Nephite civilization to the Lamanites, and the fall of the Kingdom of Isreal to the Babylonians are two tragic examples.
I fear for our country.
Even though historians have expressed skepticism of the authenticity of The Whitehorse Prophecy, I for one sincerely believe in it. The state of affairs that Joseph Smith warned us about have truly arrived. The values of The Constitution are hanging by a thread, and The Elders of Zion are being called upon to save it.
